Our Approach

Since 1996, APS National has installed concrete, porcelain, wood deck tile, ballast, and green roof paver systems on projects across the country.

Every installation is built to protect what’s underneath it — the roofing membrane, the warranty, and the structure — while delivering a finished surface that performs for decades.

We coordinate directly with roofing, waterproofing, and structural trades throughout installation, so the finished project holds up to inspection, weather, and time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about pedestal paver systems, our approach, and what to expect when you work with APS National.
We coordinate directly with the roofing system and manufacturer warranty requirements on every project, understanding membrane compatibility, foot traffic protection, and manufacturer-specific installation procedures so the finished paver system protects the roof underneath instead of putting its warranty at risk.
Concrete, porcelain, wood deck tile, ballast, and green roof paver systems and from every major manufacturer. Because we’re manufacturer-neutral, the system you get is based on what the project needs.
Ballasted or mechanically fastened pedestal systems are engineered into every exposed rooftop installation to resist wind uplift. This is a structural requirement that doesn’t come up in ground-level work, and one many generalist installers aren’t trained to account for.
There is no typical timeline and depends heavily on project size, elevation, and site access. We can give you a project-specific estimate once we understand the scope.
Yes. Elevated installation only works when it’s sequenced correctly alongside roofing, waterproofing, and structural trades. We are accustomed to coordinate directly with those teams throughout the project rather than working in isolation.
Yes. Elevated installations carry requirements ground-level work doesn’t including: roof membrane protection, wind uplift resistance, and structural load coordination. We bring the same craftsmanship to both, but a rooftop project gets the additional technical rigor those conditions demand.
